Saunum's AIR heaters do something ordinary stone heaters don't: a fan at the base draws cool air off the floor, runs it up through the stone column and returns it at bench height. The manufacturer's claim is that this narrows the gap between the temperature at your ankles and the temperature at your head. What is not in dispute is that it moves air, and that most saunas stratify badly without help.
Both outputs take the same AirIQ Wi-Fi control, included here along with five boxes of Olivine diabase stones — the four Saunum specifies plus a spare, so you can sort for the best-fitting pieces.
Choose the output for your room volume, then the finish. Nordic Black is powder-coated steel throughout; Anthracite Grey uses the same body with a grey column.

Saunum publishes a narrower room-size range for these two outputs (106–177 cu ft on the 5 kW, 177–247 cu ft on the 7 kW); the figures above use Native Sauna's own sizing methodology, consistent with every other heater comparison table on the site.

A safety rail is not required for the heater to work, but it is what keeps skin off a casing that runs above 200°F. We would not install one of these without it.
